42nd Installation Day of Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra Devi

The Murtis, the forms or deities of Sri Krishna worshiped on the altar, are considered to be non-different from God. God, who is inconceivable and beyond our sensory perception, appears out of His mercy in the form of a deity to accept our prayers and services. In Zurich, we worship Krishna in the form of Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra Devi, as is customary in Puri, Odisha, in East India. On this day, we remember the installation of these deities in the Zurich temple, which took place on the day of Siva-Ratri in 1984.
