Varaha Dvadasi

Sri Krishna appears in various forms according to the place, time, and circumstances to restore harmony in the world. Varahadeva is perhaps one of the most remarkable avatars of the Lord, as in this form, Krishna appears as a boar to rescue the Earth, which had sunk to the bottom of the ocean of causes. On this day, we remember this story, which is elaborately described in the Bhagavata Purana.
