Biography
Bhakti Mukunda Swami was born in Malaysia in a Tamil speaking family. He joined ISKCON in 1985 and from the beginning was very active in devotional service, especially in preaching Krishna Consciousness. He received his first initiation in 1989 and became a dynamic preacher in Malaysia. In the early 90s he organized bus tours were many devotees participated. He is well known in Malaysia and other places as an eloquent preacher in English and Tamil, with high proficiency in the language. He also regularly preached in Perth, Western Australia, New Zealand, France and Switzerland. He helped in fund raising for many projects some of which include the Sri Radha Giridhari temple in New Zealand, ISKCON temple in Bangladesh at the Rupa-Sanathana Sthala, ISKCON temple at Myanmar and ISKCON temple at Kathmandu .He established an ISKCON temple in West Malaysia where Gaura Nitai deities and a Balaji deity were installed. He is also well known for organizing dramas and conducting them expertly.
