Biography

Savyasāci Prabhu, is a disciple of HH Bhakti Charu Swami from South Africa. He joined the Pretoria Temple in 2002. He studied Bhakti Sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava in Mayapur, India. He has been serving in South Africa and neighboring countries like Swaziland, and Mozambique for 22 years. He was traveling with Bhakti Narasimha Swami for 4 years preaching in Southern and East Africa. Alongside Bhakti Narasimha Swami they pioneered and registered ISKCON in the kingdom of Swaziland (eSwatini). He has been involved with University Outreach since 2004 and has since been focused in Johannesburg, South Africa since 2014. Being a traveling monk Prabhu preaches in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, India and the USA.

He is the chairperson of WuSA (Wake Up South Africa) a consciousness development initiative. He sits in the Advisory Board of ISKCON South Africa’s National council. He is currently on the sannyasa candidate waiting list.
