I walked a path with no direction

walked vicious cycles endlessly

trapped in bitter anxiety

I couldn’t see

My life was still in its beginning

already feeling tired being

dragging along my tortured self

I couldn’t see

By heavens mercy weight was lifted

Jesus Christ did pity me

saying those who will ask questions

they will see

They came along as BBT book

the lessons that would free my being

truthful words from the gurus mouth

I started seeing

The ignorance it couldn’t withstand

divine knowledge’s radiant beams

his truthful words were saving me

Now I see

In my heart are hope and faith

he showed the path that is foreseen

for all the souls within this world

(Śrīla) Prabhupāda uplifted me

Forever indebted to his lotus feet

striving to live in unity

with what he did and what he said

because I see
