Temple tours - Insights into sacred spaces and encounter with the Hindu religion

Young people like to deal with foreign traditions in order to form their own opinion and to get to know their own culture better than other cultures. In order to promote this dialogue, the Krishna Temple Zurich has been offering students and teachers the opportunity to learn first-hand about Hindu religion, philosophy and culture for over 30 years.

The guided tour of the house includes explanations of Hinduism and our everyday life in the temple, insight into different rooms such as the library with Sanskrit scriptures, the Prabhupada Museum, a greenhouse of the sacred plant Tulasi and the temple room, where we learn about the worship of the deities and experience the chanting of mantras. A 'question and answer session' with a drink and a taste of Krishna cuisine will end the tour.
